Kicking off in early Spring 2024, Team Yukee has brought the Yukee Live show to festivals (such as Stendhal and All Together Now), primary schools and events across Ireland, playing to over 1000 children in March alone.
The show features screenings of Yukee episodes with a live score performed by the Yukee band; educational games in between the episodes, and of course plenty of opportunity for the audience to sing along to their favourite Yukee songs.
The Yukee Live show is all about fostering positive connections with music at an early age; there are instruments set out for the audience to play with; and movement, singing and interacting is highly encouraged. Developing and performing the show has been a wonderful opportunity to engage with local arts communities like Strand Arts and Acoustic Picnic, who work to help provide access to music & arts for young families.
